Whale Beach is truly one of the most stunningly beautiful beaches in the world. Click on this image to see a photo gallery of Whale Beach the whales & surrounding areas.

If you are visiting Sydney then we recommend you come up to the Northern Beaches located just 20km north of the CBD - there is so much to see and do. You can drive up, catch a bus or get here by seaplane. The drive only takes about 45 minutes to an hour but it is a world away from the city. And once you are here the activities are limitless. Some suggestions
- a walk up to Barrenjoey lighthouse or a walk on any of our beaches
- a day at the beach for some swimming.
- catch the ferry to the Basin and go for a walk & swim.
- go kayaking on Pittwater.
- from June to November whales can be seen off our coast so keep a look out.
- You can also enjoy a round of golf as there are several courses in the area.
- After any of these activities we of course recommend you finish by having a relaxing meal at Moby's and if you don't have a car but are in the area we'll come and pick you up.
- Call us on 9974 2727.
Moby's Whale Beach was established in 1999 and is owned and operated by local couple Joe & Helen Gracie. They fell in love with this stunning Whale Beach location, and after running Clareville Kiosk successfully for many years, knew this was the perfect place for a bigger venture.
Joe & Helen are well known for their generosity to a wide range of non profit organisations including local schools and charities, surf clubs, little athletics, and for building much needed classrooms in Rwanda.
Most importantly their fabulous staff share their passion for fresh, healthy food, modern Australian cuisine and professional but friendly service.
Joe Gracie has been cooking professionally for 20 years, and travels regularly both here and overseas to provide inspiration for the Moby's menu. He employs a variety of ethnic cuisine influences in the dishes at the restaurant and believes really good food should be simple, tasty and true to its origins.
